Wave Estate, Mohali

Wave Estate, is a 135 acre residential developement located in Mohali adjacent to Chandigarh. Construction started in September 2012. The development consists of neighbourhoods of large villas and three Apartment communities, as well as associated clubhouses, retail and leisure facilities. A guiding principal in the design has been to take advantage of the site’s location an it’s sweeping views towards the nearby Shivlak Hills and the Himalyan foothills.

Ramprastra

A residential development of 460 large apartments in Gurgaon, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. The curvaceous form and stepped profile of the apartments serves to visually break up the scale and mass of the building and create different views and orientations for the apartments. By combining the individual residential towers into one continuous serpentine form we avoided the restrictions of setbacks between individual towers which allowed us to maximise the amount of landscaped gardens while achieving the full permitted FAR for the site.

Serviced Apartments, Noida

Interior Design and Facade Design for a new 42 level serviced apartment tower at WAVE City Center Sector 37 Noida. The tower forms one of the first phases of the 40 million ft2 development. Currently under construction.

Holiday Villas, Dhofar, Oman

A project consisting of 40 villas on a spectacular site overlooking the Indian Ocean in Dofar, southern Oman. The villas are designed to take advantage of the cliff top site where the public areas of the villas have been placed on the first floors to maximise the panoramic views and the family areas are grouped around private courtyard gardens at the lower levels. This balance between privacy and openness has driven both the site plan and the house plans.

Zehusice Palace

Built in 1679 in the Baroque style for the aristocratic family of Thun-Hohenstein, this house is over 3,000 square meters, not counting its various outbuildings, including an indoor riding arena, also built in the Baroque period. In 1828 the house was given its first renovation and transformed into its current Imperial style. We were asked to undertake its second renovation to return it to its original use as a country home. In this role it will serve as a hunting lodge at times and so needs to accommodate a pheasant hunting party of eight couples in addition to the owners
